Jesse James, Esquire

Attorney Jesse James handles serious personal injury and criminal defense matters across the State of Florida. He is a current member of the Florida Bar, United States Middle District of Florida, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, and Pinellas County Trial Lawyers Association. Before becoming an attorney, Jesse James served ten years in the U.S. Air Force and three years as a computer programmer and weapons effectiveness/target vulnerability analyst for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Research Laboratories.

Attorney Jesse James received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Troy University in 2002 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2008. He has worked with some of the most skilled and knowledgeable attorneys in the State of Florida. Attorney Jesse James utilizes all of the knowledge and experience he gained over the course of his combined 20 year professional career to provide each client with the highest and most detailed level of representation.

Nick Congero, Esquire

Nick Congero was born and raised in New York and relocated to Tampa after completing Law School. Prior to Law School, Nick earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Hofstra University. During his undergraduate studies, he spent hundreds of hours working alongside doctors in major hospitals and riding in ambulances as a licensed EMT. This experience gave Nick a unique first-hand understanding of the dangers we face on the road and the injuries we may incur as a result.

Nick was inspired by his father, who practiced as an attorney in New York, to pursue law as the next step in his career. He attended The University of Kentucky College of Law where he was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Board. While in Law School, he interned as a Judicial assistant for a Circuit Judge and later worked as Staff Attorney for the Chief Circuit Judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Kentucky after graduation.

Nick relocated to Tampa and began working for prominent Defense firms representing insurance companies in auto accident cases. After exposure to the tactics used by the insurance companies against their insureds, he decided to realign his practice with his passion for helping individuals. Nick left the side of Defense and joined a boutique Plaintiff’s firm in St. Petersburg specializing in residential and commercial property damage. Inside of two years, he rose to the rank of senior attorney at the firm before leaving to join the Jesse James Law Firm in 2023. Nick is the lead attorney of the Tampa office and specializes in auto injuries, slip and falls, and all other serious injuries alike. His practice continues to include residential and commercial property damage claims.
